Every room has a view.  Some are beautiful and some are less so. All are memorable.  These photographs are views from the rooms that we have stayed in during our year-long trip.

Room 115, New Sphinx Resort, P.O. Box 11, Dahab, South Sinai, Egypt.  CDN$16.36 per person per night. March 24, 2008. Note:  Those (very) faint mountains on the horizon are across the Gulf of Aqaba (Red Sea) in Saudi Arabia.  The Red Sea can be as calm as a lake … and the snorkelling is excellent.  I think that we will stay here awhile … maybe 10 days.  This is sunrise.
