Every room has a view.  Some are beautiful and some are less so. All are memorable.  These photographs are views from the rooms that we have stayed in during our year-long trip.

Room 204, Fawlty Towers Hostel, 116/1 Simtat Ofarim, Eilat, 88000, Israel.  CDN$20.00 per person per night.  March 4, 2008.  Note:  This is the real name of the hotel.  The owner did not look like Basil Fawlty but did have a few eccentic characteristics to his personality.  Eilat, Israel is about 3 Km away across the Gulf of Aqaba from Eilat, Israel (see February 17 posting for Aqaba, Jordan.  The dove of peace seen in this photo is NOT doing a very good job in this region of the world.
